Agilent Technologies Inc. and Healex Systems Ltd. have collaborated to make Agilent’s ChemStation chromatography software support Healex’s ChemLaunch remote instrument access and control module. Combined with the OpenLAB laboratory operating system, this configuration provides an integrated software environment for large-scale, distributed analytical labs. It provides a single point of contact that streamlines administration of ChemStation/ChemLaunch operations. The ChemLaunch secure Internet/intranet-based system enables labs to remotely control and monitor analytical instruments via a Citrix terminal server environment, which allows maintenance and software upgrades to be implemented through the server.
