MagTecta double-cartridge mechanical-seal bearing isolator
Designed to extend the life of rotating equipment, the MagTecta is a double-cartridge mechanical-seal bearing isolator meant to replace lip seals or labyrinth bushes. With no rubbing elastomeric parts, shaft wear or bearing moisture contamination, this bearing isolator uses modern mechanicalseal technology, including antimony-carbon against tungstencarbide seal faces. The seal is energized by magnets, instead of springs, to minimize space. The MagTecta fits into the same space as a lip seal or labyrinth seal, and provides total, hermetic bearing isolation. Also available is the MagTecta-II, which has been certified to European ATEX standards and is compatible with certain API guidelines
