The Signet 4150 turbidimeter features easy calibration with simple one-unit installation and setup. Its accurate, reliable water-quality monitoring complies with the U.S. EPA 180.1 standard, making it suitable for both municipal and industrial applications. It is available in two models: the 0–100 NTU (nephelometric turbidity units) version, which handles low-range applications such as potable water monitoring, and the 0–1,000 NTU version, which is designed for higher-turbidity applications, including raw water and waste-water monitoring. Turbidity measurement is accomplished through a 90-deg. light that reflects particles as they flow through a cuvette, providing continuous and accurate online measurement. The meter’s replaceable desiccant pack ensures a stable environment for accurate measurement, and its built-in backpressure valve can be adjusted to eliminate bubbles that can cause reading errors. It has a 4–20-mA output signal, two programmable alarm relays, and a bright backlit display.

Pressure Transmitter Resists Damage and Stress
The Type A-10 industrial pressure transmitter is designed to withstand harsh operating conditions, such as shock and heavy vibration. Its construction is resistant to mechanical damage and eliminates stress on the pins of the piezo-sensor. With few sources of potential error, the failure rate is reduced to a minimum. The transmitter is easy to set up and operate, and is suitable for use in hydraulics/pneumatics, pumps and compressors.

Thermometer Makes Non-Invasive Measurements
The Traceable infrared thermometer can take readings on any surface, including solids, semi-solids, and liquids. Its non-invasive, non-contact measurements make it suitable for food preparation, life science, pharmaceutical, petroleum, clean room, electronics, and field applications. Each unit has an individually serial-numbered Traceable certificate indicating ISO 17025 accreditation and compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability standards. The thermometer’s range is –27ºF to 428ºF (–33ºC to 220ºC), with a resolution of 0.1º and an accuracy of ±1ºC+2%. Its dimensions are 3.25 in. by 0.75 in., and it weighs 0.75 oz. It can pause the display at a current reading, and has a 1:1 field of view. Its fixed emissivity of 0.95 covers 90% of all applications. The thermometer comes with a pocket clip, keychain, and lanyard, and batteries are included.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter Withstands Corrosive Environments
The KSonic Micro is a compact, low-cost, ultrasonic level transmitter/ switch that is designed for liquid and bulk solids level applications. Ultrasonic measurements are based on the time of flight (TOF) of an acoustic wave that is emitted from a transducer and directed toward the product being measured. This wave is reflected back toward the transducer and then converted to an electric signal. Its variable GAP (gain, amplitude and power) technology provides a very narrow beam angle of less than 4 deg., which allows the transmitter to take accurate measurements in narrow vessels, and function in the presence of dust, vapor or foam. It measures liquid levels to 32.8 ft (10 m) and bulk solids to 16 ft (5 m). Its 4–20-mA output is standard for remote indication or remote control, and it has a single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) relay that can be used to activate alarms and pumps. The unit is housed in an IP65 polycarbonate enclosure and the transducer has polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) wetted parts for corrosive environments.

Viscometer Measures at High Shear Rates
The micro-fabricated viscometer/rheometer-on-a-chip (VROC) enables samples as small as 50 mL to be used for accurate, repeatable, and high-resolution viscosity measurement. Each microelectricmechanical systems (MEMS) VROC chip measures 18.9 mm ×11.7 mm × 1.6 mm, and weighs only 0.64 g. This small chip geometry allows measurements to be taken beyond conventional instrumentation limits to conditions with very high shear rates. It can withstand a maximum shear stress of 10,000 Pa and a shear rate of about 1,000,000/s for a low-viscosity sample
