Regenerative Blowers Develop Ideal Air Pressures and Vacuums


A cost-effective alternative to multi-stage or positive air-displacement blowers, the low-noise Rotron regenerative blowers develop ideal air pressures and vacuums using few moving parts. They can reach flows up to 1,800 ft3/min, pressures upwards of 264 in. H2O (gauge), and vacuums approaching 13.4 in. Hg. The blowers can be used in a variety of applications, including: agitating solutions; conveying parts and product; performing vacuum hold-down and pick-up operations; and drying and cleaning parts. Custom-ization and optional accessories are available.

Blower Packages Satisfy Conveying Applications


Cyclonaire Blower Packages are designed to meet customers’ elevation, temperature, noise-reduction, and application needs. Each blower is mounted on a rigid-channel iron frame, and can be configured as a standard belt drive, jack shaft drive, or direct drive. Intermediate-pressure (15 psig) models are designed for semi-dense phase vacuum loading/pressure conveying and PD railcar/truck unloading. Low-pressure (8 psig) models handle dilute-phase conveying, silo and hopper aeration, and air-shoot conveying applications. Standard features include: a quality inlet-filter with service indicator; premium inlet and exhaust silencers; a 10-ft hot blower hose; a safety pressure relief-valve; and a heavy-duty outlet check valve.

This Blower System Operates Quietly and Efficiently


The simple-to-install ROOTS EasyAir8000 Factory Blower Package System is designed for vacuum or pressure applications. The blower package includes a noise-abatement enclosure that offers up to 22-dBA free field noise attenuation, and a pre-assembled, skid-mounted blower unit. The enclosure is powder-coated for protection from harsh environments and features lightweight, removable panels for simplified maintenance. The system has front-mounted differential filter and discharge pressure gauges for easy viewing and integrated forklift slots for convenient, balanced transportation. Equipped with a motor that can go up to 500 hp, the blower package can handle intake volumes from 17.66 ft3/min to 5,297 ft3/min at pressures up to 15 psig. An automatic belt-tension system comes standard, as does dual-splash lubrication for units with 6-in.-dia.-gears or smaller. Additional lubrication and maintenance options are available.

Inline Polypropylene Fans Handle Corrosive Conditions


Designed to operate in highly corrosive air applications, the JET series inline polypropylene fans operate in conditions up to 190°F and at speeds up to 1,725 rev/min for the JET 30 model, or 3,450 rev/min for the JET 20 and 25 models. The fans create a high plume of air to ensure maximum dilution of gases and to prevent fumes from returning into the facility. The housing for both the fan and motor is made from high-density UV-treated polypropylene. The fans’ forward-curved wheels are constructed from uniformly molded polypropylene blades, and are supplied with a motor-shaft bushing and hubcap made from polypropylene to protect the shaft end. The direct-drive motors are meant for continuous duty, and are totally enclosed and fan cooled (TEFC)-, UL- and CSA-compliant.

Customizable Industrial Fans Are Durable


Safe and customizable, the Radial-Tip Belt-Drive industrial fans are used for make-up air and general ventilation duty. They can also serve as components in dust collection and cyclone receiver systems. Available with pedestal or unitary bases, the fans can generate flowrates from 1,000 ft3/min to 100,000 ft3/min. The wheels are statically and dynamically balanced for smooth running and the V-belt drive allows fine-tuning of fan speed and flowrate by changing pulleys and belts.

Air-Powered Fans Can Withstand Extreme Conditions


Suitable for use in explosive and caustic environments, these rotary air-powered explosionproof fans eliminate expensive magnetic starters and heavy hardwall conduit lines. Approximately 70% lighter than comparable belt-driven fans, these easy-to-install units feature flanged housings, permitting quick fastening to flexible duct or other accessories. Adjustable turbo-vane air motors operate in any mounting position and cannot be overloaded. These streamlined motors limit fan housings to a depth of 12–15 in. Spark-proof cast aluminum axial flow impellers utilize improved airfoil sections for maximum air-handling efficiency. Protective coatings are available to make fans impervious to caustics or moisture.

Rotary-Lobe Blower Packages Are Easy to Install


Custom-built to suit specific job and application requirements, Omega-paK rotary-lobe blower packages are delivered factory-assembled and ready-to-install. The blower packages are comprised of two-lobe Omega blowers and a premium efficiency motor, pre-mounted on a sturdy frame with inlet and discharge silencers. They feature a pivoting motor base and tension spring that automatically applies the correct V-belt tension to maximize transmission efficiency. A visual indicator prevents overtensioning to extend belt, pulley and bearing life. Wide-opening doors and removable side panels provide easy access for routine maintenance work. Simplifying oil changes, drain valves use front-mounted gasketed caps located inside the access doors. Blower packages with sound enclosures are easy to transport and can be delivered on skids suitable for fork lifts.

High Pressures are No Problem for These Tube Axial Fans


Designed to handle static pressures up to 4-in. H20 (gauge), the high pressure TA-HP tube axial fan is made of fiber-reinforced plastic. Direct and belt-driven fans feature helical-shaped blades that process up to 90,000 ft3/min.
