Divert Materials Using these Valves
These pinch diverter valves are built for obstruction-free flow of dry materials conveyed under pressure in dilute, semi-dense and dense-phase pneumatic systems. They can direct material to two different destinations or be set up to combine material flows from two different sources. Each valve can be adapted for its application and configured to a specific angle of divergence or convergence. They handle pressures up to 85 psig and may be furnished with flanged, plain or grooved pipe connections with integral pressure switches that indicate flow direction. The valves are offered in diameters ranging from 2 in. to 12 in. Standard features include control air filter/regulator, two solenoids and double-wall construction for extended service life. The rubber sleeves are available in pure gum rubber, white neoprene for food-grade applications, and high-temperature rubber.

Valves Handle Transformer Oil Applications
To perform reliably under extreme operating conditions, the Cardinal valves are rated for temperatures ranging from –40°C (–40°F) to 100°C (212°F). All parts are made from non-corrosive or a suitably protected material to withstand outdoor exposure on external surfaces and hot transformer oil on internal surfaces. Cardinal valves are robust in design, so that over-tightening or minor abuse encountered in handling or during factory/field installation will not result in valve malfunction. The fasteners are designed to prevent loosening under normal operating conditions. The operating handle displays the valve’s open and shut position and can be manually locked in either position. Cardinal valves are designed for use on new transformers or as replacements on existing electrical transformers. Cardinal valves are available in sizes ranging from 2 in. to 8 in., including ANSI standard and OEM-specific flange configurations

Valve Meets the Increasing Demand for Smaller Thermoplastic Relief Valves
The Series TRVDT three-port, in-line relief valve is ideal for systems requiring minimal footprint or where the use of a piping tee is not practical. It has an economical, heavy-duty design that allows for easy replacement in existing systems. When closed, the valve has a straight-through flow pattern. The pressure setpoint is adjustable between 50 and 100 psi, and the maximum inlet pressure is 150 psi. Once the set pressure is reached, the diaphragm is lifted off the center port, and the excess liquid flows out through the third port at the bottom of the valve. The TRVDT model features a PTFE diaphragm seal with no wetted metals or elastomers. An additional non-wetted U-cup seal design includes the firm’s patented Fail-Dry vent, which provides visual warning of impending seal malfunction. The valves are available in 1⁄2-, 3⁄4-, and 1-in. pipe sizes, and can be made from PVC, natural polypropylene, PTFE and Kynar PVDF.

Condensate Drain Valve Assemblies are Ideal for Compressed Air Systems
This comprehensive line of condensate drain valve assemblies is designed specifically for use in compressed air systems where drainage of moisture is critical. The valve assemblies are available in air-operated and solenoid-operated versions. Air-operated models incorporate a straight-through design with fewer components. This provides effective sealing and non-clog operation at a lower cost and with minimal maintenance. Solenoid-operated versions are compact and offer longer life in high-temperature, high-humidity applications. Condensate drain valves are used to remove water that develops in compressed air systems from changes in air temperature during the compression cycle. Failure to properly drain the condensate often results in air leakage, improper system operation and additional maintenance.

Slide-Gate Valve Is Durable and Maintenance-Free
The Stargate-O-Port slide-gate valve (or through-port valve) features a well-guided blade — with a hole in the middle — passing through both ends of the valve body. This design offers several advantages. Foreign matter does not get trapped in the bottom of the valve or jammed between the gate and the body. This prevents seat damage so that the valve always seats and seals well. The valve has a class VI shut-off, independent of the pressure differential between upstream and downstream side. Over 97% of the valve’s body thickness is solid material, resulting in a very stiff valve body. Capable of handling pressure shock waves and aggressive flow media, the valve is virtually maintenance-free and can be installed in any position in the pipe since it does not have a preferential flow direction.

Novel Seat Technology Gives this Ball Valve Greater Precision Capabilities
The Worcester CPT ball valves are engineered as control valves and provide reliable operation and precise valve positioning in critical throttling conditions. The valves can be used in systems that control steam pressure or pH levels, operate in low-temperature cryogenic conditions or up to 1,000°F, and meet EPA and OSHA specifications for containing toxic chemicals. CPT valves feature a patented seat technology, made from self-lubricated, full-contact sintered stainless steel, impregnated throughout with TFE (modified PTFE) or graphite. This unique seating material provides positive shutoff and eliminates galling when paired with the hard coated, super-round ball, which leads to lower torque, greater precision, and longer equipment life. Seats are available in several standard equal-percentage “V” shapes or linear-characteristic slots, as well as other customized characteristics such as dual-angle, noise/cavitation attenuation and multistage pressure drop. These features permit the CPT valves to be optimized for any specific application, and to be reconfigured when system parameters change.
