Enhanced Dewpoint Transmitter Measures Continuously in Compressed Air or Process Gas
The improved Easidew two-wire transmitter is a low-cost, rugged dewpoint transmitter for continuous measurement in compressed air or process gas. The transmitter now has the ability to be connected in a two-wire, loop-powered configuration, while maintaining complete backward compatibility with all existing three-wire installations. It also offers an output that is configurable in ppmv moisture content (0–100, 0–1,000 and 0–3000 ppmv ranges). Other enhancements include a new 10-mm HDPE sensor guard designed to show contamination for service ease, and improved software and firmware to protect calibration from the most severe levels of EMI. The Easidew transmitter has a dewpoint measurement range from –148°F to 68°F and an accuracy of ±3.6°F. The instrument also features a field adjustable 4–20-mA linear analog output, resettable failure modes for over-range, under-range and sensor-fault conditions, and temperature compensation.

No-False-Alarm Sensor is a Trademark of These Three- and Four-Wire Transmitters
The Tox-Array 2100 RS485/4–20-mA three- and four-wire smart transmitter features the firm’s patented no-false-alarm sensor technology for gas detection. The self-calibrating device makes monthly span adjustments based on its life curve. It also offers automatic gas calibration in two minutes, plus non-intrusive, hands-free and magnetic switches. Other highlights include: offsite sensor-only calibration to replace sensors in the field without recalibration; an option to house four 12–15-A time delay relays in the same enclosure; and an RS485 Modbus RTU option that can link 247 points on a pair of twisted wires.

Two-Wire Pressure Transmitter Can Be Easily Programmed
The two-wire, loop-powered SmartPress Model LP-D pressure/liquid-level transmitters feature simple push-button programming, making them easy to install and set up. They can also be supplied pre-calibrated at no additional charge. The transmitters have Type 316 stainless-steel flush diaphragms and a variety of process connections, including 1-in. NPT and several Triclamp sizes. The flush diaphragm helps prevent buildup of the process material and allows clean-in-place (CIP) cleanup as required in food and beverage production, as well as pharmaceutical processing. The flush diaphragm also protects the units’ piezoresistive sensor, utilizing pressure-transfer silicone oil between the diaphragm and the sensor (food-grade oil is also an option). The transmitters provide 0.25% accuracy in 19 available pressure ranges from –14.5 to 5,800 psi. They operate over a temperature range from –40°F to 158°F ambient and from –13°F to 257°F for process materials, and are provided in IP65/NEMA 4X housings in either epoxy-painted aluminum or plastic.

Smart Manometer is Tough and Accurate
Contained in a 6.5-in. × 3.6-in. × 2.25-in. polycarbonate enclosure with permanently static dissipative ESD protection, the M2 Series smart manometer is ideal for field applications and has the accuracy to serve as a pressure reference standard. It offers 11 selectable user units, as well as expanded ranges to handle gauge, differential, absolute or vacuum pressure. The manometer also comes with a min/max feature to capture extremes of varying pressure signals, and 1-point or 5 -point field recalibration for zero, span and linearity. A leak-test procedure is included that calculates leak rate in units selected per minute. Common applications include: calibrating field devices (pressure gages, transmitters, recorders and switches); measuring pressure drops across filters and rotary vane meters; and making open flow measurement of gas wells with a pitot tube or orifice plate.

Corrosion Transmitters Can Increase Plant Uptime and Reduce Maintenance Costs
The SmartCET corrosion transmitters are now ATEX-certified and can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres in the European Union. Integrated with the firm’s Experion Process Knowledge System, SmartCET provides online, real-time data that measure the corrosion rate in mm/yr and detects the presence of localizing corrosion conditions. Other SmartCET parameters can be used for further online corrosion diagnostic analysis and for improved accuracy of corrosion rate data. This results in increased plant uptime, reduced maintenance costs, maximized production throughput and improved safety. The transmitters are available in three configurations: multivariable output with four real-time corrosion measurements; single variable with output for general corrosion rate; and single variable with output for pitting factor.

Get Parts-per-Billion Moisture Measurement Capability with this Transmitter Package
Moisture measurement in low parts-per-billion (ppb) measurement ranges for ultra-high purity (UHP) gases is critical to a variety of semiconductor, LCD, and other manufacturing processes. The HygroTrace meter uses aluminum oxide technology with a newly patented technique to provide accurate and reliable measurement for 0–100 ppb moisture levels with the sensitivity and speed of response matched only by current technology analyzers that are much larger and more expensive. The device also has the form factor of a transmitter package with the only wetted parts being essentially a flow-through 1/4-in. VCR tee fitting. The HygroTrace package is 80–90% smaller than competitive analyzers and costs 50–70% less. It features a large integrated backlit display, which can be easily read from several feet away. An integral six-button keypad allows users to program the unit for output range and to check performance. The unit is loop-powered using a 20–28-VDC source and provides a 4–20-mA output proportional to a user-programmed range.

Gas Detection Sensor and Transmitter Combination Has Plug-in Memory
Engineered for applications in refineries, petrochemical plants and compressor plants, this device couples the firm’s SEC 3000 sensor with its SEC 3100 transmitter to detect trace concentrations of explosive gas. The sensor works in tandem with the transmitter, which incorporates a plug-in memory stick that logs a permanent record of actual gas levels, remembering times, concentrations, trouble signals, service interruptions, etc. The memory stick is easily removed from the transmitter to download data for retrieval and computer analysis. The combination sensor and transmitter can handle temperatures ranging from –40°F to 160°F and humidity levels from 0% to 99%. It also automatically compensates for wide temperature swings. The cylindrical stainless-steel SEC 3000 sensor measures 2-in. in diameter and 3-in. high. The explosionproof SEC 3100 transmitter is 5-in. high, wide and deep. The sensors can be coupled directly to the transmitters or can be placed up to 1,000 ft away.
