Combustion Expert v4
In order to make real improvement to the fuel economy of your process, you need to know the efficiency. Combustion Expert v4 software calculates the fuel efficiency, as well as the furnace efficiency and the over-all-process heat efficiency. It shows you how to adjust fuel and airflow for changes in temperature, barometric pressure and humidity so that the heat dissipated in the furnace remains the same. Using OPC or DDE communication with a PLC, you can see the furnace efficiency in real time, while you receive set points for temperature, mass flowrates or volumetric flowrates based on measured flows, temperatures, gauge pressures, barometric pressure and relative humidity. This new version can determine heating of boxed-shaped objects with radiative heat transfer, calculation of heat transfer coefficients, viewing factors, radiosity , gas emissivity and temperature distribution in bars or slabs. A report generator gives five different reports for heating values, mass balances, furnace losses, heat losses and process summaries.

DeltaV Analyze
DeltaV Analyze software can improve operator effectiveness by assessing unusual alarm, event and operator activity. Unlike other limited alarm-management approaches, DeltaV Analyze identifies these unusual occurrences, trends in plant alarms, control modules responsible for those alarms, and delivers information on structured web pages for rapid, easy access. DeltaV Analyze examines data from the plant Event Chronicle or Plant-Wide Event historian. It highlights the most frequent alarms and the control modules responsible for those alarms. The Overview display of this software provides a quick display of how alarms, events and user actions are trending month to month. Viewing this screen may be enough to determine if the production facility is operating at acceptable limits. More detailed information can be gathered by focusing in on an area, time period or event type. Information can be incorporated into other common desktop applications like Excel and Outlook.

SpectraSuite
SpectraSuite, a modular, Java-based software platform that operates on Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems, can control multiple Ocean Optics USB spectrometers and devices, and any other manufacturer’s USB instrumentation using the appropriate drivers. Applications include upwelling/downwelling measurements, dual-beam referencing and process monitoring. All visual and functional aspects of SpectraSuite’s interface, including the interface language, can be changed to create a fully branded application. For example, users can add or delete modules to create a proprietary user interface or functionality, create modules to perform calculations, or automate experiment routines. SpectraSuite manages multiple USB spectrometers in multiple windows and provides graphical and numeric representation of spectra from each. It provides the user with advanced control of episodic data capture. The captured data is stored at speeds of up to one scan per millisecond.

OmniSEC v4.1 GPC/SEC Software
The OmniSEC 4.1 GPC/SEC integrated software package for multiple detection analysis helps maximize the information and efficiency of size separation experiments. Version 4.1 has the ability to calculate molecular weight of a protein sample without knowing the differential index of refraction (dn/dc) or concentration, as well as flow-injection polymer-analysis style calculations. Other excellent features include variable dn/dc and the powerful report designer. It is 21CFR Part 11 compliant and increases the information available from GPC/SEC experiments through enhancements to calibration calculations, copolymer analysis, overlays, multiple peak detection and data acquisition. Users have the flexibility of fixed baseline or different baseline and limit settings for each channel, and several new options are available for constructing the baseline.
