Stainless steel construction gives the J3X free-float steam trap superior corrosion resistance. The selfmodulating free float delivers continuous, smooth, low-velocity condensate discharge under varying process loads. The trap’s unique rotational seating design eliminates concentrated wear to ensure a long service life. The J3X is available in 1/2-in., 3/4-in. and 1-in. NPT sizes.

Therminol VLT
Therminol VLT is a synthetic liquid-phase fluid that allows a single fluid to be used in many general-purpose process applications where both cooling and heating are required. Its properties are such that the same hardware can be used over the entire range of operation — eliminating the operational problems associated with using multiple fluids in the same piece of equipment, and allowing low-temperature operation with normal centrifugal pumps. It is suitable for use at temperatures as low as –115°C, and has an upper temperature limit of 175°C (–175°F to 350°F).

Cool Blue TD-52 Thermodynamic Steam Trap
The Cool Blue TD-52 thermodynamic steam trap line significantly reduces life-cycle energy consumption and maintenance requirements compared to conventional designs. Distinguished by its blue stainless steel insulation cover, the Cool Blue TD-52 features a specially engineered ceramic disc material with lower heat conductivity than conventional steel alloy caps on disc traps. It has a maximum operating pressure of 600 psig and a maximum operating temperature of 800°F, and is available in 3/8- in., 1/2-in., 3/4-in., and 1-in. NPT sizes.

Paratherm MG, Paratherm LR and Paratherm CR
Paratherm MG, a specialty version of the MR (mid-range) heating/cooling fluid, is certified HT-1 food grade by the NSF (the designation that succeeds the retired USDA H-1 certification). It is recommended for processes operating from 0°C to 260°C. Another NSF HT-1-certified fluid, Paratherm LR, operates at lower temperatures, from –40°C to 204°C. Paratherm CR, developed for use down to –100°C, has a low viscosity that permits higher fluid turbulence, resulting in faster heat removal than silicone liquids or d-limonene-based fluids.

Pre-Insulated Tubing Bundles
This electric- and steam-traced pre-insulated bundled tubing is covered with non-wicking, fibrous glass insulation and a tough PVC or urethane jacket. The electric-traced model features a self-regulating electric tracer and is typically used to maintain process temperatures up to 250°F without the need for dedicated temperature controllers. A light-steamtraced bundle provides freeze protection and temperature maintenace between 50°F and 200°F, and separates the process tubes from the tracer tubes by a layer of insulation. In the heavy-steam-traced tubing, the process tube is in direct contact with the tracer to maintain temperatures from 200°F to 400°F

MultiTherm PSC Cleaning Fluid
MultiTherm PSC cleaning fluid breaks down sludge deposits and resin residue, and is designed to stay in suspension for easy removal or filtration. It is compatible with the manufacturer’s fluids as well as most others, so a small residue left in the equipment will not cause problems. It is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-hazardous, and has a high flash point.

CALORPLAST Heat Exchangers
Custom-designed CALORPLAST heat exchangers are designed for heating or cooling in highly corrosive applications. The product line includes immersion, shell-andtube, tube-plate, gas-liquid, and flexible heat exchangers. Materials of construction include polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polyethylene and polypropylene. The heattransfer media can be saturated steam or hot water up to 35 psig at 281°F, or chilled water or water/glycol solutions.
