Chemical Safety Board Recommendations and CCPS
AIChE and its Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) have been working actively for more than 20 years to help industry continually improve process safety performance. We support the work of the Chemical Safety Board to gather learning from process accidents and communicate these to industry. The following are links associated with this activity.

With the recent release of the CSB recommendations stemming from the BP Texas City incident, our work is more relevant than ever.
The CSB made recommendations to CCPS which are being addressed as follows:
- CCPS is beginning a project to address the issue of how to integrate process safety during mergers & acquisitions.
