Reactivity Management Roundtable (RMR)

Building on the success honored by the Chemical Safety Board, CCPS launched the RMR to reach out to companies of all sizes across all industries to raise awareness of chemical reactivity hazards and share appropriate process safety tools.  By bringing together such a vast array of companies we can better address the needs of companies with smaller and resource-challenged chemical operations, and thus reduce the incidents throughout industry.

• Download the Reactivity Evaluation Software Tool
  The Reactivity Evaluation Software Tool and the Help Guide that accompanies the software can be used as aids in identifying and evaluating chemical reactivity hazards and is a free download provided by the Center for Chemical Process Safety. The chemical reactivity evaluation tool can only assist the user in identifying reactivity hazards and is designed to complement the user‘s understanding of known reactivity hazards. There is no guarantee that all reactivity hazards will be identified and results obtained can be no better than the accuracy and completeness of the information entered into the program. Windows XP or higher is required as well as Office 2007 or higher and you will need administrator rights for your computer to load and run the software.
