Opening Doors Campaign

In 2009, the AIChE Foundation launched the Opening Doors Program, a multi-year campaign to involve young chemical engineers in our association by supporting their transition from student life to the professional world. Thanks to the generous support from our donors, with a special thank you to our featured donors, we were able to launch ChEnected in 2010, an interactive website providing young professionals with better access to information, career tools and networking opportunities.

Centennial Celebration Campaign

Over the past 100 years, AIChE and its members have been part of every major development in the modern world, from improving medicines to developing more environmentally friendly fuels and creating new materials that positively touch all aspects of our lives.  Due to the extraordinary generosity of individual and corporate donors, the AIChE Foundation is happy to announce that the Centennial Celebration Campaign successfully met its fundraising goal of $150,000.  This enabled us to initiate many centennial programs and activities. Campaign for Web Excellence

Thanks to the outstanding support from AIChE members, local sections, and divisions from across the country, the AIChE Foundation's Campaign for Web Excellence successfully met its fundraising goal of $270,000.  Support for the Campaign for Web Excellence by members allowed AIChE to build a new www.aiche.org that incorporate the latest technological improvements and provides AIChE members with more immediate access to technical information, networking opportunities, and career goals.


AIChE 21st Century Campaign

Thanks to the generosity of AIChE members and the support of corporate partners throughout the 21st Century Campaign, AIChE has enhanced many of its programs and resources over the years, which have continued to build a better future for chemical engineers and people everywhere.

The Raphael "Ray" Katzen Memorial Fund

The Raphael "Ray" Katzen Memorial Fund, benefiting students pursuing careers in biological engineering, was established by Ray Katzen's family in 2009 to honor and celebrate Ray's distinguished life and career as a talented chemical engineer and passionate industry leader of the bioenergy sector.The AIChE Foundation extends is warmest appreciation to the Katzen Family for establishing this fund, and to the generous individuals and organizations for their support.
