Description:

The Minority Affairs Committee presents this award in honor of William W. Grimes, the first African-American Fellow of AIChE. The award recognizes a chemical engineer's outstanding achievements as a distinguished role model for minorities.

Selection criteria include:
1. The nominee is a chemical engineer.
2. The nominee has demonstrated outstanding technical, business or related achievements.
3. The nominee has voluntarily given time and effort to help increase the interest and/or performance of members of the underrepresented minority groups in science, math, engineering and related areas either in an educational or business environment.

Deadline:

Award:
