Description:

1.The Public Relations Committee presents this award in honor of an active AIChE member and longtime advocate of the Institute's publicity programs. The award recognizes the local section which has most effectively communicated or interacted with the general public, government, and/or the news media on behalf of AIChE, the chemical engineering profession, and the industries chemical engineers serve. 1. The winning section will be selected from information provided in their annual report and section newsletters, or by nomination. 2. Winners are not eligible for selection for two years after receiving the award.
