Description:

Recognizes excellent newsletters published by AIChE activity groups in five categories: Division or Forum Newsletter; Student Chapter Newsletter; Large Local Section Newsletter; Mid-size Local Section Newsletter; Small Local Section Newsletter. Selection criteria include: 1. The winning sections, division, and student chapter will be selected from submitted newsletters and information provided in their annual reports. 2. Effectiveness of communication (clarity, humor, and presentation). 3. Content. 4. Innovation and quality. 5. Winners are not eligible for nomination for two years after receiving the award.

Deadline:

April 9, 2004. Send five copies each of two issues of the newsletter, and a cover letter to AIChE Awards Administrator, 3 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10016; Ph./Fax: 212-591-7634/8882.

Award:

An engraved paperweight.

Presentation:

Section and division awards are presented at the annual AIChE Leadership Development Conference. The student chapter awards are presented at the AIChE Annual Meeting.
